The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville reminds residents of the following closures at administrative buildings on Labour Day. 

This week, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville were honored to host Ontario's Minister of Long-Term Care, the Honourable Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, and Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP, Steve Clark, for an in-depth tour of Maple View Lodge in Athens.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville has officially declared approximately 600 acres of land on Byers Road in Edwardsburgh Cardinal, as surplus. Counties Council authorized its sale to the Township of Edwardsburgh Cardinal for a purchase price of $1,885,500.

County Road 5 will be closed at the CN Tracks from Monday June 17th at 7:00 a.m.

This year, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and Tackaberry Construction will be rehabilitating 4.7 kilometres of County Road 30 from County Road 29 to County Road 42.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is excited to announce that Potentia Renewables Inc. (Potentia) has been chosen by Ontario's Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) to build and run the Skyview 2 Battery Energy Storage Project.

Please be aware that the pit and the Forsythe South trails will be closed on Saturday, May 4th for the Eastern Ontario School Mountain Bike Challenge. 

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, in partnership with St. Lawrence College, have entered into a funding agreement for the implementation of a Living Classroom at Maple View Lodge in Athens, Ontario.

Just over 67% of businesses in Leeds Grenville have experienced growth over the last couple of years.

Please note that the half load restructions for our County Roads within Leeds and Grenville will be lifted on Wednesday, April 17th.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville's, Community Housing Department is inviting local innovators, builders, and land developers to partner on a topic-specific workshops that offer solutions to create more Affordable Housing units faster in Leeds and Grenville.

The Agricultural Area Review (AAR) has not been completed, and there have been no final decisions made as part of this process.

Westport Storm Sewer Outfall Improvements Environmental Assessment Study Public consultation is vital to this Study. Anyone with interest in the project can provide input.
