ATHENS, ON - The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is proud to celebrate a major milestone in the redevelopment of long-term care services with the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the new G Tackaberry and Family Home.

As we celebrate the season of giving, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville invites the community to help make the new G. Tackaberry and Family Home in Athens, Ontario, a place of comfort and care for its future residents.

Members of Counties’ Council were honoured to host Ontario’s Minister of Long-Term Care, the Honourable Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, Parliamentary Assistant, John Jordan, and Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP, Steve Clark, for a tour of the nearly completed G. Tackaberry and Family Home in Athens.

The Fundraising team, in support of the G Tackaberry & Family Home, is pleased to announce they are at 87% of their $3 million fundraising goal, and sprinting to the finish line with a final push for the remaining $400,000.

ATHENS, ON - You can tap your toes and toss a contribution to support the residents of The G Tackaberry & Family Home on February 8th when the Shantyman performs a concert at the Joshua Bates Centre.

ATHENS, ON – The Maple View Landings Redevelopment Project (G. Tackaberry and Family Home) is set to receive a major boost with a charity volleyball tournament organized by students, taking place at the Athens District High School gymnasium on Saturday, November 16.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, in partnership with St. Lawrence College, officially welcomed the Living Classroom to Maple View Lodge in Athens, Ontario.

This week, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville were honored to host Ontario's Minister of Long-Term Care, the Honourable Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, and Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP, Steve Clark, for an in-depth tour of Maple View Lodge in Athens. 

Twelve municipalities across Leeds and Grenville have officially donated a total of $296,800 to the G. Tackaberry and Family Long-Term Care Home in Athens, ON.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, in partnership with St. Lawrence College, have entered into a funding agreement for the implementation of a Living Classroom at Maple View Lodge in Athens, Ontario.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is pleased to announce the hiring of Maple View Landings new Director, and Construction Project Administrator.
