Submit a Concern

You have a right to enjoy your home. Successful community living requires respect for one another’s viewpoint. Sometimes people do not agree. Keeping good relationships with your neighbours can go a long way towards making the community one that everyone can enjoy.

If you have a complaint or concern

Verbal or anonymous complaints cannot be addressed. All complaints must be submitted in writing to your Case Manager using the Tenant Concern Form and signed. Include date(s), time(s) and details of the incident(s).

Before submitting a concern, you must ensure that:

  •  The concern is something you have witnessed first-hand
  •  The concern is something that directly impacts you
  •  The concern happened within the last 30 days
  •  The concern is written on a Tenant Concern Form

Tenant Concern Forms are readily available outside of the Custodian’s office. Forms can also be obtained at the Housing Department office, or you may submit your concern by completing our online form which can be accessed by following the link below.

If you need help to write your complaint, please come to the office for assistance. All written complaints will be investigated and actioned appropriately by staff.

This form is for use by tenants residing in social housing owned by the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.  If you are not a tenant but would like to submit a complaint or concern it should be directed to your local municipal office

Important:  Only concerns that you have witnessed first-hand can be addressed.  Tenants must be prepared to be a witness at the Landlord Tenant Board, if required.  Tenants must obtain and provide copies of police reports, if applicable, to the Case Manager as supporting documentation.  Anonymous concerns cannot be addressed and will not be accepted.  Anonymity will be maintained between the complainant and the alleged offender, except where necessary in a formal proceeding or police investigation. However, should this matter proceed to the Landlord and Tenant Board, you may be required to give evidence as a witness; your name and your filed complaint will become public information.
