Summer Camps
Give your child a fun experience with summer camp. Our summer camp program subsidizes camp for clients of Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, and rent-geared-to-income tenants.
If you receive Ontario Works and/or rent-geared-to-income, contact your Case Manager to apply. If you receive ODSP, contact the Community and Social Services Division at 613-342-3840, extension 2119 to apply.
Unlicensed summer camp programs must submit proof that they meet the Safe Drinking Water Act (O. Reg. 170/03) regulations.
If you select an unlicensed camp, the Case Manager will call the camp to make sure they are compliant. If a camp cannot show compliance, you may wish to select a different camp.
Camps run by licensed child care providers, or which are on municipal water systems are not subject to this verification. Water compliance is already examined through their respective governing/licensing bodies.
Unlicensed providers may contact the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit or the Ministry of the Environment to begin the water testing compliance registration process.
