Ontario vows to keep tourism, culture afloat

The Ontario government’s aim is to keep the province’s cultural and heritage institutions afloat until the COVID-19 crisis has passed, Tourism Minister Lisa MacLeod said Friday.

“Our goal right now is to create resiliency in those sectors so that they can survive and eventually thrive again,” MacLeod said outside the Brockville Museum during a whistle-stop tour of tourist attractions in Leeds and Grenville.  Read more...
