Hotel near Gan casino gets nod

The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has given the green light to construction of a new hotel across from the Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands.

The hotel, a Windgate by Wyndham, would be four storeys and contain 78 rooms, including an indoor pool/spa, meeting room, lobby and lounge space.  Eighteen of the rooms would be “extended stay” units with a kitchenette and living room meant for people who need lodging for a month or so.  Read full story.
