HFI Pyrotechnics to add 15 jobs

An agreement with the federal government has made HFI Pyrotechnics a trusted part of Canada’s military supply chain, allowing the local firm to add to its workforce.

Local officials on Friday celebrated the inclusion of the firm, located north of Prescott, in Canada’s Munitions Supply Program (MSP).

The deal means the company, which employs 65 people full-time, can go ahead and hire 15 more people in the coming year, said HFI’s president and chief executive officer, John Witherspoon.  Read the full story.
