College gets $774,000 for skills training

The Ontario government is giving St. Lawrence College $774,000 to run two programs aimed at training people for jobs in the skilled trades.

“It’s going to help us put people in the right jobs and help employers,” Glenn Vollebregt, the college’s president and chief executive officer, told the small crowd gathered at Brockville’s Northern Cables Friday afternoon.  Read the full story.
