Building Accessibility – It’s Easier Than You Think! FREE Event for Businesses on How to Become More Accessible to People with Disabilities

BROCKVILLE ON – The Leeds and Grenville Accessibility Advisory Committee is hosting a FREE event to assist businesses in learning how to make their businesses more accessible to people with disabilities. 

 

When:  Friday, October 3, 2025

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where: New Hope Church, 2811 Second Concession Road, Brockville

 

To register for this free event:

 

It will feature speakers from the business community, as well as those with experience living with a disability.  Learn how easy and beneficial it is to make your business accessible to everyone. 

 

Speakers at the event include representatives from Amsted Design-Build, Community Involvement Legacy Homes, Leeds Grenville Developmental Services, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville’s Community Housing Department, and Brockville Home Health Care.  Representatives from Accessibility Advisory Committees throughout Leeds and Grenville will also be on hand at the event.

 

The Leeds and Grenville Accessibility Advisory Committee is a Committee of the Council of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and is made up of members of the public, as well as representatives from Counties Council.
