Brockville places highly in health care ranking

When Kendra Lorimer broke her wrist while cross-country skiing in March, she did not expect the result to become an economic development talking point.

But on Friday, the city’s economic development coordinator was recounting her experience at Brockville General Hospital to highlight the city’s strong showing in a recent nationwide health-care survey.

Brockville recently placed seventh in Maclean’s magazine’s “Best communities in Canada for great health care 2019.”
