Bioindustry network coming to Brockville
New federal funding will grow the reach of a national Sarnia-based not-for-profit aimed at helping companies develop new bio-based technologies, allowing it to open a new facility in the Brockville area.
Economic Development Minister Mélanie Joly was to announce Thursday in Sarnia that Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC) will receive $15 million to expand into the Brockville area, helping foster the still-fledgling bio sector in Canada. Read the full story.
