Our Dietary department prepares and serves safe, high quality, nutritious meals to our residents following our menu rotation. Maple View Lodge offers three meals a day in addition to three nourishment carts to promote fluid intake and snacks throughout the day. To ensure meal variation, two choices of entrée are offered as a main meal followed by choice of desserts. Therapeutic diets and dietary supplements are provided as recommended by the Registered Dietitian.
Staff are responsible to monitor and record each Resident's food and fluid intake as part of their care plan to encourage overall health and well-being. Our Registered Dietitian devotes time to each resident to ensure their nutritional needs are met in accordance with Ministry standards.
