Flags Lowered to Half-Mast in Honour of Those Affected by the Tragedy at CFB Wainwright
The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville will fly flags at half-mast at the Counties Administration Building this week to honour the lives lost and all those affected by the tragic events that occurred at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright, Alberta, on October 17, 2026.
Our thoughts are with the fallen members, those who were injured, their families and loved ones, and the entire Canadian Armed Forces community. We join communities across Canada in expressing our gratitude for their service and in remembering those impacted by this tragedy.
