Rent Supplement Program
We are not currently accepting applications for this program as funding is exhausted.
Rent supplement programs allow households to live in a unit owned by a private landlord and still receive rent-geared-to-income assistance. The difference between full monthly rent for the unit and the rent payable by the tenant is paid to the Landlord by the Counties.
Rent supplement units are available in various sizes and locations. To apply for a rent supplement unit you must complete the Application for Subsidized Housing. Select rent supplement units on the Building Selection form for locations you prefer.
Landlord Resources
Landlords interested in participating in the Rent Supplement program must complete a Rent Supplement Landlord Application. The application will be considered if there is a demand for the unit size and location. A unit inspection will be completed to ensure the unit meets program eligibility criteria.
Additional information is available in the Rent Supplement Landlord Guide.
