About Us
Maple View Lodge, home to 60 Residents is a long-term care home owned and operated by the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville housed in approximately 50,000 square feet over two separate Resident Home Areas or RHA's. The RHA's are known as Brookside and Meadowview. Accommodations include 10 "Basic" rooms housing 20 residents; 15 "Semi-Private" rooms housing 30 residents and 10 "Private" rooms housing 10 Residents.
We have 24-hour Registered Nurses on duty, Registered Practical Nurses on duty for day and evening shifts administering medications and treatments under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, and Personal Support Workers (PSW's), Health Care Aides assist in providing 24-hour nursing care to our residents. A Registered Dietitian is on contract to assist in meal planning for resident needs. Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services are provided to support and encourage residents' independent mobility and physical needs.
"Return of Service" Initiative
Maple View Lodge is pleased to announce that we have received approval from Ontario Health for the "Return of Service With a Nurse" Initiative which provides an incentive of $10,000 for eligible RN's.
Criteria includes:
- Begin working to fulfill their return of service commitment between January 1, 2021 and November 15, 2021.
- Certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) who have not been employed as a nurse in Ontario in the six (6) months before the start of their commitment.
