Routine Maintenance Requests |
It is the Housing Department’s responsibility to maintain your unit/building in a safe and satisfactory condition. Please report the following concerns promptly to the building custodian. Where the building custodian is unavailable or for family units, please contact the Maintenance Line: 1-800-167-8146 or 613-342-3840 ext. 2118 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), or any time using the Maintenance Request Form for the following types of requests:
Your request will be reviewed during regular business hours and addressed as quickly as possible depending on the nature of the issue. Please do not submit maintenance emergencies using the Maintenance Request Form Refer to the section below on reporting After-Hours Emergencies. If the custodian or a contractor does not come to your unit within 3 business days, or if you notice that something seems wrong after a repair, please call the Maintenance Line. Pets must be secured in a location away from the repair work needed; repairs will not be completed where pets are running free. Note: if repairs are needed and the damage was caused by you, either wilfully or negligently, the cost of the repairs will be charged back to you. |
After Hours Maintenance Emergencies |
An emergency is an issue that if not dealt with immediately will result in further damage to the property or prove a health and/or safety threat to the tenant. You must report all Maintenance Emergencies immediately.

You will be connected with an on-call staff member. If you get voicemail, leave a brief message and a telephone number where you can be reached, and the staff member will return your call promptly. |
