9-1-1
Dial 9-1-1 in an emergency. A call taker will connect you with police, fire or ambulance services.
About |
The 9-1-1 Dispatch system is an emergency call system that connects citizens to emergency services. If an emergency service needs to be dispatched, the 9-1-1 dispatch system will then alert the appropriate agency (Fire, Ambulance or Police) of the situation. The agency will then dispatch the necessary resources required to handle the emergency situation. |
It is against the law to call 9-1-1 as a joke. Prank 9-1-1 calls can be dangerous
and waste valuable emergency resources.
