Update - County Road 44 Road Closure New End Date - November 22, 2024

While we initially hoped to speed things up, we encountered some unexpected challenges during construction, which caused a delay.

This is not a small culvert; it’s a substantial structure with openings measuring 8.4 meters by 2.1 meters, and we have used over 400 tonnes of concrete so far. Our crews are working hard, and we’re pleased to report that the project is now progressing as planned.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work to make County Road 44 safer and more resilient. The current timeline has the road reopening on November 22.

Thank you for your continued cooperation!

Closure location: County Road 44 - from Glen Smail Road to Byers Road

Start Date: September 30, 2024 @ 6:00AM

Updated End Date: November 22, 2024 @ 8:00PM

Details: Culvert replacement to occur.
