Hunting Season - Limerick Forest

Friendly reminder that the deer rifle hunting season is open from November 4^th to the 17^th. We are "asking" all motorized users to refrain from using the trails during this short 2-week period so the hunters can have an opportunity to enjoy their sport. We are also requesting the same courtesy from non-motorized trail users, especially horseback riders, mountain bikers and hikers. Although we will not officially be closing any trails, your cooperation in respecting the interests of the hunting community during this time is greatly appreciated.

If you must visit the forest, then please note that the trails behind the interpretive centre are in a no-hunting zone. In this case, please use common sense, wear fluorescent-coloured vests and remember that stray or ricocheting bullets can still travel over a mile in distance.
