Council Highlights - October 23, 2025

Council received a presentation from Food Banks United regarding food insecurity in the region.

General:

· Council received the 2026-2027 Budget Guidelines.

· Council approved the 2026 Council and Committee meeting schedule.

· Council received the Maple View Lodge Committee of Management Report dated October 9, 2025.

· Council received and accepted the Homelessness Prevention Program Investment Plan for 2025-2026 as presented at the Joint Services Committee meeting held October 7, 2025.

Council Actions:

· Approved an update to the Corporate Services and Finance Committee Terms of Reference.

· Authorized an agreement with AECOM Canada Ltd., for costs associated the widening of County Road 43.

· Authorized Contact No. PW-2025-17 with KB Civil Constructors Inc., for sewer repairs on County Road 2 in Johnstown.

· Established a Maple View Landings Life Enrichment Reserve Fund.

· Authorized Contract No. PW-2025-04 with Bircon Canada Ltd., for retaining wall construction in Lansdowne.

· Authorized the execution of a construction easement agreement on property legally described as part of Lot 656, Plan 194, TLTI.
