County Roads Half-Load Restrictions Come Into Effect March 2, 2026

 

To protect the integrity and sustainability of the municipal road network, UCLG and its ten member municipalities will be limiting the weight of materials to five tonnes per axel on the weaker roads in our area. All roads subject to seasonal weight restrictions will be identified with a sign. Seasonal load restrictions will remain in effect on the identified roads until further notice (typically, mid-May).
