Discover Leeds Grenville

Leeds_Grenville_view.jpgWelcome to the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.

We are located in south-eastern Ontario, Canada, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. Here you will find a vacation paradise with the famous 1000 Islands, inland lakes, including Charleston Lake and the Rideau Canal, known as a heritage route linking Kingston to Ottawa, the Nation's Capital. Leeds Grenville is situated within an hour's drive from both Kingston and Ottawa.

The region has a rich history and  in 2012 celebrated the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812.

This is where you will find the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. Both the Frontenac Arch and the Rideau Heritage Route have been recognized as UNESCO sites of world significance.
