Purchasing Services coordinates and leverages procurement activity throughout the organization to obtain the best value and service possible for public monies spent, while at all times maintaining the highest standards of business ethics in our dealings with suppliers and contractors.
Supply chain leadership is provided to the organization in order to facilitate an efficient and effective allocation of the Counties procurement via fair, competitive, transparent and ethical processes.
The Purchasing By-law, approved by Counties Council, governs all procurement activity. The by-law is a listing of rules in which purchasing services is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all departments abide.
