Consent Granting Authority

The Consent Granting Authority (previously the Land Division Committee) of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville has been in effect since 1971 and is administered by the Secretary Treasurer whose office is located at 25 Central Avenue, West, in Brockville. Lot creation by consent to sever is one of the more important functions of the United Counties by creating new home lots and farms across the landscape of Leeds and Grenville. The Consent Granting Authority processes between 160 and 180 applications per year. The separated municipalities of Brockville, Gananoque and Prescott have their own Land Division Committees and all enquiries and applications within their jurisdiction should be addressed directly to them.
